Children's Program
Ages 7 to 12

T he children's program is a hybrid system combining techniques, concepts, and training methods of all the disciplines offered at TTMA. In this way children are able to see the differences between the different styles. This also aides in the transitioning from child to adult programs. Children that have been trained in the youth programs have an easier time adjusting to the demands of the adult curriculum. The program is divided into two parts: Stand up and Grappling.

TTMA stresses to each child the importance of having self-discipline and patience. Every student is well versed in respect for not only each other but also for themselves. These lessons are developed through what we call our "Principles of the Black Belt"

Modesty, Courtesy, Integrity, Self-Control, Perseverance, and Indomitable Spirit.

K id's grappling is also a fun and exciting class where kids learn takedowns, wrestling techniques, and submissions derived from some of the most sophisticated grappling arts in the world such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Sambo, Dumog, Combat Submission Wrestling, and Judo. Children ages 7 to 12 really enjoy this class, and parents really appreciate the discipline and realism of the TTMA Grappling program.
